The resort is at the far end of Phi Phi Don Village past Cabana Hotel and Phi Phi Hospital right under the towering cliffs of Tonsai Towers. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main pier which is at the start of the village and so Mama Beach Residence is cut off from the hubbub of the village life and has a gently island atmosphere down by the beach. The rooms are all in 4 three storey blocks and have views over Tonsai Bay and the cliffs. The rooms have a light, white minimalistic decor ideal for those who like space. The balconies overlooking the bay, a superb vantage point from which to watch the days go by.
